What this board compares

Every row is a flight or air-swim potion with a published time from the Wacky Wednesday sign to the potion cannon sign. Hovering potions were excluded from that test. Ranks are an editorial call for steerable travel. They are not developer tiers, and they ignore combat.

Which Wacky Wizards boards are on this hub?

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.

Tierflight13 ranked rows.

S tier

flightFly-orbMagic Orb plus Fairy. The published course time is 8 seconds, and the writeup calls the steering smooth.

Player decision Best default once you have Magic Orb. Prefer this over Heatseeking for quest travel.

flightFlybuxRobux plus Bird. 8 seconds on the same course. You become a Robux coin with a green trail. Space ascends and Ctrl descends.

Player decision The flight potion to brew the day you unlock Robux, if Magic Orb is still missing.

A tier

flightBroomFairy plus Witches Brew. 8 seconds. The timed recipe does not include Dynamite.

Player decision Take it if you already did Glinda and do not have Robux or Magic Orb yet.

flightMagic CarpetEgyptian Head plus Fairy. 8 seconds on a carpet.

Player decision A reward for finishing the pyramid, not a brew to rush first.

flightFlying UnicornHorse Shoe plus Fairy. 8 seconds on a unicorn with a rainbow trail.

Player decision Equal on the clock to the other A-tier mounts. Brew it when the horseshoe is already on your table.

flightFlying EyeCyclops Eye plus Bird. 8 seconds as a flying eye.

Player decision Skip it on the day you still need the Robux ingredient or the 20 gems.

flightOther 8-second mountsThree more 8-second mounts from the same test: Tostado-ufo (Taco + Fish), Banana-broom (Monkey's Paw + Witches Brew), and Broomed (Witches Brew + 2021 Pumpkin).

Player decision Do not hunt a legacy ingredient only to match a brew you can replace with Flybux or the plain broom.

B tier

flightHeatseekingDynamite + Bird + Dynamite. 3 seconds, the shortest time in the test.

Player decision Use it only if you accept a wipe. It is the wrong brew for obbies and quest deliveries.

flightFireballEggcano plus Bird. 4 seconds in the test.

Player decision A speed trick after you already own Eggcano, not a reason to buy crate rolls.

C tier

flightBean DroneCoconut alone. 23 seconds as a bean drone.

Player decision Fun after the volcano. Do not use it as your travel brew if Flybux is available.

flightBlood-suckingBird + Fairy + Spider. 28 seconds with bat wings.

Player decision There is little reason to pick this over Swim plus extra hooves.

D tier

flightBee formsSleepy Bee is 30 seconds. Buzzing (Bird + Honey) and Queenly (Honey + Robux) are 29. Specialty honey bees are grouped at 30.

Player decision Wear the bee for pollen. Switch to Flybux or a hooved Swim potion when the quest is done.

flightAir swimBird + Fish lets you swim through the air. Fairy + Fish is the mermaid form. Extra Giraffe Hooves in the Swim pot raise the speed, but that stacked version was not given its own time in the test.

Player decision The right travel brew at the start of the game. Replace it when you can brew Flybux or Fly-orb.

FAQ

Wacky Wizards ranking questions

Why is the fastest potion not in the top rank?

Heatseeking posted the shortest time, 3 seconds, and the same test calls it dangerous to steer. Fly-orb and Flybux posted 8 seconds with usable control. The tier uses the controllable 8-second brews for the top rank because the goal is crossing the map, not winning a straight line.
